The Apprenticeship Support Program equips women and young entrepreneurs with practical, hands-on skills and the support needed to build sustainable livelihoods.
Participants are matched with experienced crafts persons and businesses for structured, on-the-job training, complemented by basic business and financial literacy support. The program also helps address key barriers by providing guidance on tools, startup readiness, and income management.
Upon completion, beneficiaries are better positioned to secure employment, start their own businesses, or grow existing ventures driving financial independence and long-term economic impact.

Frequently Asked Questions
The FundHer Loan is a financing product designed to provide financial support to Women-Led Small and Medium Enterprises (WSMEs) in Nigeria. The product offers three types of financing: Working Capital, Asset Finance, and Expansion Finance.
- Working Capital Loan
- Asset Finance Loan
- Expansion Finance Loan
The single obligor limit depends on the type of financing:
- Working Capital Loan: Up to N50 million
- Asset Finance Loan: Up to N100 million
- Expansion Finance Loan: Up to N100 million
To qualify for the loan, a business must meet the following criteria:
- Must be in existence for a minimum of 2 years
- Must be more than 51% owned by a female or have 26-50% female ownership with a female CEO/COO/President/Vice President
- If a board exists, at least 40% of the board of directors must be women
Eligible businesses include those in:
- Trade & Manufacturing: Local traders, distributors, wholesalers, general merchants, supermarkets, packaging companies, manufacturers of FMCG products.
- Services: Businesses with daily cash flow and short cash conversion cycles, such as mechanics, artisans, barbers, hairstylists, cleaning services, business centers, etc.
Repayment terms involve monthly payments of both principal and interest.
Collateral requirements for the FundHer Loan vary based on the loan amount. For loans below N20 million, flexible collateral options are available, regardless of the product category (Working Capital, Asset Finance Loan, or Expansion Finance Loan). However, for loans exceeding N20 million, legal mortgage or cash collateral is mandatory.
